Two Train the Trainer Workshops
DFS staff will present a train-the-trainer workshop on theRemembering When™ A Fire and Fall Prevention Program for Older Adults curriculum this spring. This is designed for firefighters and their partnering agencies who work with seniors. The program was developed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Participants will review the updated curriculum, practice using the activities and plan for implementation. This workshop is a great resource for local Senior SAFE programs. Firefighters are encouraged to bring a senior partnering agency to this workshop. You can register at the Mass. Firefighting Academy website.
